I originally started this website to inform people about some of the modern alternatives for when it comes to green, do it yourself energy for the home user.
My search initially led me into the area of solar energy, especially for the home user and eventually I discovered what I think is a great program for the average home owner.
Let’s face it, who doesn’t want to lower their energy costs and at the same time reduce their dependence on the traditional energy suppliers?
The program I discovered is called Green DIY Energy which shows you how to build and install your own solar panels for your own home at a fraction of the cost.
It completely wipes out the idea that building and installing home solar panels is some hugely technical exercise that you or I could never possibly achieve.
After going through the instructions contained within this program you will be as surprised as I was at just how simple it all really is!
The expense of installing solar panels professionally is still enormously high yet this huge price is not really based on the materials and labor involved.
It seems to have more to do with “big business” trying to hang on to their monopolies on the power supply industry than anything else.

Finding that program also alerted me to another overlooked source of energy for the consumer.
When it comes to wind powered energy you probably have visions like most people of those huge wind farms you have seen stretching on and on across the landscape.
The sheer size of those turbines you see and the vast numbers of them makes people regard wind energy as something totally out of their reach.
Like them, you may think that wind energy is something that could only be accessed through a multi-million dollar investment by some huge corporation or government body.
Again I was pleased to find that this technology has been demystified and made it available for the average person like you and me and again… it is really simple and anyone can do it.
As with the home solar program the wind turbine programs are aimed at the average person. Both require no particular skills for you to implement them and start cutting your energy costs today… or at least in a few weeks when you have them installed!
